My “Favorites of 2019” List

As I prepared to make this year-end list, I realized I was down to just 1 blog post a year but, honestly, why post my ramblings here to be ignored when they’re already being ignored on Facebook?  ;)

MOVIES

This year, in addition to the “October Horror Movie Challenge”, I also held a “Worst Superhero Movie Challenge” and a “Steven Spielberg Movie Challenge”.  Somehow this translated to me seeing around 30 less films than the previous year.  I partly blame excellent tv programming for this.

Like last year, I will have 2 movie lists.  The first list will be my top 10 favorite 2019 movies followed by honorable mentions.  Second list will be movies released prior to 2019 but I never got around to seeing when they released.

2019 was another year of exceptional programming spread across network, cable and streaming platforms. It really is amazing how tv programming has exceeded cinema in terms of quality entertainment.  Like last year, I will list all tv seasons I finished with the added info of the (year) that season was released, [# of episodes] for that season and the (source).  Source is self explanatory except where BD = Bluray Disc.
