Hot Toys Christopher Reeve Superman Sixth Scale Figure

After having missed the initial release of this figure, I was quite happy when Sideshow temporarily made this figure available for purchase.  Good thing I jumped on it as it quickly went out of stock.  I'm a huge Superman: The Movie fan and couldn't fathom not having this figure in my collection.  While pretty bare bones as it pertains to accessories, the authentic head sculpt and movie-accurate costume are spot on representations of the late actor Christopher Reeve's portrayal in the original 1978 Superman: The Movie film.

According to the Sideshow website, Hot Toys Limited donated a portion of all figures sales to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, "a charitable organization dedicated to helping cure spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy."
